What we collect, and what we do not.

The short version.

We collect what you type into our quote form and nothing else. There are no cookies on this site, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising. We do not sell or share your details. If you want your information gone, email us and it is gone.

What we collect.

Only the quote request form asks you for anything. It sends us:

• Your name and email address
• What you run, if you tell us
• The tools you ticked, and anything you typed in the other box
• The surfaces you want covered
• What is stuck, in your words
• Your 20-question check result, but only if you chose to attach it

The form also has a hidden field that real people never see. Automated spam fills it in, which is how we drop bots without making you solve a puzzle. It collects nothing about you.

The 20-question check stays in your browser.

The check runs entirely on your own device. Nothing is sent to us while you tick the boxes, and we cannot see your answers. Your result is held in your browser's session storage, which clears itself when you close the tab.

If you go on to request a quote, your result travels with you and is attached to that request, because quoting against your actual answers is the point of it. We tell you on the form when that has happened, and there is a Do not send it button that removes it before you send.

What we do not do.

• No cookies. Not analytics cookies, not preference cookies, none at all
• No Google Analytics or any other analytics product
• No tracking pixels, no advertising networks, no remarketing
• No social media embeds or share buttons that phone home
• No fonts loaded from Google. We host them ourselves, so your visit is not reported to anyone
• We do not sell, rent or trade your details, and we never will

Who else handles it.

Three services touch a quote request on its way to us. They are the only ones.

Cloudflare

Hosts and serves this website. Like any web host it records standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and to keep the site up.

Resend

Delivers your quote request to our inbox as an email. Your form answers pass through it once, at the moment you press send.

Migadu

Runs our mailbox, so your message sits there like any other email until we reply and after.

Cloudflare and Resend operate outside Australia, so your information leaves the country when it passes through them. That is true of almost every website form, but you should know it rather than have to assume it.

How long we keep it.

Quote requests stay in our email for as long as the conversation is useful, and for our records if you become a client. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we clear it out. Ask us to delete yours at any time and we will, including from the mailbox.

Your say in it.

Email hello@bitbibit.studio and you can ask us for a copy of what we hold on you, ask us to correct something, or ask us to delete it. No form to fill in and no reason needed. We reply within one business day.

Keeping it safe.

The site is served over HTTPS, our accounts carry two-factor authentication, and access to the inbox is limited to the two of us. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that plainly than promise otherwise.

Changes.

If we change how any of this works, we change this page and update the date below. We will not quietly start collecting something new.
